Work yesterday was hard. No I mean REALLY hard. After filling up bags of sand at the bottom of the hill in the morning, we had to carry them up the steep hill to the project site for mixing cement in the afternoon. I got there and was like..theres no way..thats insane. Midday heat, bag of sand on your shoulder. One of the yayorin workers put one on my shoulder, it immediately clicked and it really, really hurt. I started walking. I didn't get far up the hill until my back just seemed to give way completely. I gave up. Couldn't physically do it! SADIE NO STRONG. I felt so useless, ended up getting so worked up about it..everyone else could do it except me!! Christ, when I got to the top empty handed, I saw 2 kids walking up with one each! What the fuck?! They are 12. They are 12 and are stronger than me. If that doesn't make you feel insanely shit then I don't know what does! God damn miniture supermen.
I'm glad I volunteered for camp duty today. As apparently the work is even harder today! Score. The others are lifting more bags of sand..AND CEMENT! insane.
So, yesterday we established I am the weakling of the group. Fantastic!
