They killed 2 more chickens today. A couple of the volunteers won't eat it, said it doesn't feel right as they couldn't face the killing.

Yesterday, Roni (one of the kids) killed a mother bird to get to its babies. Roni kills a lot of birds.
Catherine took the babies off them and has been trying her hardest to look after them, get them back to health..they were newborns. Her and Dave are feeding them with milk through a syringe, its so cute, they just open their mouths and let it pour in, despite not being able to see yet ^_^.

Its hard..I just wish people would get taught to have some respect for animals..but its understandable in a tiny village in a developing country. It just gets to me seeing kids playing with animals for their own gratification and entertainment.

The work today was filling bags of sand and carrying it to the 2 holes for the toilets we are going to build for the village. The villagers go to the toilet in the river, they also mandi in the river..so this is an attempt to make it more hygenic for them! Sespit toilets.

Some guys from another village came to watch us work. We are the circus in town.

This one guy told me he loved me after seeing me 20 minutes, put his arm around me while I was carrying sand, asked for my I love you necklace and generally perved on me. It was really annoying. He didn't even help out or anything..just..perved. He came to the camp..and left shortly after being given many evil looks from Depsi! Haha.

Boone seems to be helplessly falling for Maria. He also keeps teasing me about Ido.
