So I left the island. I didn't want to..I totally melted into that place. You can just do nothing all day and its awesome..chilling out at the beach, its the most relaxing place. There weren't that many people there either..so it wasn't hectic. Was really chilled out in the evenings, with people doing firebreathing etc. Amazing place.
The driver of the boat I got back was a nutter! He was racing the other boat, though in our boat, none of us were wearing lifejackets or anything! Met an english girl who lives in Vietnam on the boat, we shared a taxi to Kota Bharu. Last night we went for some food in town, we were sat at this kinda restaurant, with a beer, listening to this guy blare out Michael Jackson hits..it was perfect!
I am currently on the train to Bangkok. It left at 12pm and will arrive at 8.45am! I don't know where the beds are...this worries me.
The good news is I didn't become a victim of violence at the border, it was fine! I just walked over the border then got a motorbike taxi to the train station. No violence! Don't know what everyone is stressing about.
I can't believe I'm on this train for 18 hrs.
The bed is above my head. Smooth moves Sadie, douche.
